Job summary
Mt. Bachelor Sports Pro Shop is seeking an Experienced Retail Bootfitter to deliver outstanding guest experiences through advanced bootfitting knowledge, biomechanics, and hands-on fitting expertise.
You will guide guests to boots that fit, perform, and support their mountain time, while applying modifications and leading bootfitting training as needed. Responsibilities include mentoring junior fitters, staying current on boot tech, and collaborating with the retail team to optimize the guest
Qualifications
- Advanced bootfitting certification required.
- Deep knowledge of foot biomechanics, boot tech, and fit principles.
- Experience guiding guests to optimal boot solutions and upselling accessories.
Responsibilities
- Conduct professional boot fittings with attention to foot anatomy and biomechanics.
- Provide exceptional guest service with personalized boot recommendations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of boot models, liners, and fit technologies.
- Perform modifications (liner molding, punching, canting, trimming) and build custom footbeds.
- Support sales by advising on accessories and upsell opportunities.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
