The role combines deep technical accounting with strong organizational skills, performing full reconciliations, payroll, and fixed asset management with minimal supervision. The position emphasizes high-density precision across client ledgers, adherence to firm standards, and the ability to handle multiple accounts with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive bookkeeping experience.
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of core bookkeeping principles and internal controls.
• Proficiency in QBO and Google Workspace required.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Reconciliations: perform full monthly bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations.
• General Ledger Maintenance: post journal entries and manage fixed assets depreciation.
• Advanced AP/AR Operations: vendor payments, AR aging, collections workflows.
• Payroll Execution: process payroll cycles and assist with year-end filings.
• Autonomy: manage multiple client accounts independently with minimal oversight.
• Quality Control: review entries prepared by junior staff; lead targeted accounting projects.
