Job summary

Design Hire LLC in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting for multiple clients. You will handle bookkeeping, payroll, tax filings, month-end close, and financial reporting with independence in a small team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop/Enterprise.
• Experience with AP/AR, bank reconciliations and GL.
• Hands-on payroll processing, payroll taxes, and sales tax filings.
• Knowledge of month-end close, financial reporting and basic principles.
• Proficient in MS Office; Google Workspace a plus.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities.
• Excellent communication; public accounting and certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients and entities.
• Process payroll and payroll tax reporting and filings.
• Prepare and file sales and use tax returns with supporting docs.
• Complete month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations and financials.
• Maintain accounting records and support office operations.
