Job summary

Uassist.ME LLC in the United States is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper with advanced QuickBooks Online skills and construction accounting know-how. You will lead onboarding, clean up charts of accounts, reconcile balance sheets, and set up assets and liabilities while resolving complex transactions.

You will also support internal reporting, generate customized financial reports, and assist with system integrations to ensure accurate, timely financial data for construction clients.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) for setup, cleanup, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and asset/liability setup.
• Ability to resolve complex bookkeeping issues independently.
• Experience generating and analyzing financial reports.
• Familiarity with Zoho and JobTread workflows.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Construction bookkeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setup and cleanup charts of accounts during onboarding.
• Reconcile balance sheets and investigate discrepancies.
• Establish assets, liabilities, and loan accounts with adjustments.
• Troubleshoot complex transactions and corrections.
• Generate, review, and customize financial and vendor reports.
• Assist with QBO integrations to external platforms.
• Apply construction accounting knowledge for client work.
• Support bookkeeping workflows with Zoho and JobTread.
• Communicate with clients to clarify information and resolve questions.
• Identify recurring issues and propose process improvements.
