Job summary

SHL Buildes is seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our construction company. This is a local, in-person position in the New York City area with flexible schedule (part-time or full-time) based on experience.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and construction accounting is required. Responsibilities include managing daily bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, contractor payments, job costing, and month-end reporting, with collaboration with our CPA as

• Experience in the construction industry accounting is strongly preferred.
• Experience with subcontractors, job costing, and vendor payments.
• Must be available to work locally and in person.
