Evolving Solution Services is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper in the construction sector to manage daily financial transactions, including AP/AR and bank reconciliations, while maintaining ledgers and ensuring tax compliance. This role supports project-level accounting for multiple construction sites across the United States.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of related experience, proficiency in QuickBooks, and familiarity with payroll tax processing and tax return preparation.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles.
  • Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll tax processing.
  • Familiarity with tax return preparation and compliance requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or certification in accounting or bookkeeping is preferred.
  • Must have 3-5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

As a Bookkeeper in the construction industry, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records that support the company’s operational and strategic goals. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
