Job summary
Mantis Innovation seeks a seasoned Controls Application Engineer to develop BMS/SCADA applications at supervisory and controller levels. You will help refine engineering standards and provide remote support to project and field teams, across multiple engineering functions within the Controls Engineering group.
Ideal candidates have 10+ years in building automation and 5+ years in BMS/SCADA development, with strong HVAC and networking knowledge.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in engineering with Building Automation or Controls.
- 5+ years BMS/SCADA app development; mission-critical experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of DDC theory and HVAC applications.
- Basic networking and device configuration knowledge.
- Experience with BACnet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, SNMP, MQTT.
- Ignition Core certification preferred.
- Familiar with Distech controllers and GFX programming.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
- Develop BMS applications across multiple platforms (e.g., Niagara, Ignition, Wonderware, Distech, PLCs).
- Support development and enforcement of engineering standards for programming, graphics, alarming, tagging, history, and database creation.
- Provide remote technical support to Project Managers and Field Engineers during project execution.
- Refine engineering standards and provide cross-functional remote support within the Controls Engineering group.
