Job summary

Mantis Innovation is seeking a Controls Application Engineer to develop BMS/SCADA applications at supervisory and controller levels, refining standards and providing remote support to project and field teams. The role emphasizes mission-critical environments and across multiple platforms.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in building automation or controls engineering, 5+ years in BMS/SCADA development, Ignition experience, and strong networking knowledge, with a flexible hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the engineering field, preferably in Building Automation or Controls Engineering.
• 5+ years of BMS/SCADA application development experience, with mission critical experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Distech field controllers and GFX programming, Ignition SCADA, Wonderware, and PLC systems.
• 2+ years of experience with Ignition platform (Ignition Core certification is preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop BMS applications across multiple platforms: e.g., Niagara, Ignition, Wonderware, Distech, PLC's.
• Provide remote technical support to Project Managers and Field Engineers during project execution.
• Refine engineering standards and provide remote support to project and field teams.
