Job summary

Mantis Innovation is seeking a Controls Application Engineer to develop BMS/SCADA applications at supervisory and controller levels, refining engineering standards and providing remote support to project and field teams.

You will work with DDC and PLC programming, BACnet & Modbus integrations, and build front-end interfaces for control systems. Report to the Controls Engineering Manager with a hybrid work setup and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the engineering field, preferably Building Automation or Controls Engineering.
• 5+ years of BMS/SCADA application development experience, with mission critical experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DDC control theory & HVAC applications and the ability to apply these principles in real-world scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Develop BMS applications across multiple platforms: Niagara, Ignition, Wonderware, Distech, PLCs.
• Provide remote technical support to Project Managers and Field Engineers during project execution.
• Refine engineering standards for programming, graphics, alarming, tagging, history, and database creation.
