Job summary

LightEdge Solutions seeks a Critical Systems Administrator to own BMS/BAS and Video Management Systems across multiple data centers. The role provides hands‑on support, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management for building automation and camera infrastructure.

You will consolidate fragmented systems, reduce incidents, and establish a standardized operating model. Requires 5+ years in BMS/BAS or CT systems, with VMS experience and strong networking and scripting skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience supporting BMS/BAS, building automation, or comparable systems.
• Production experience administering and troubleshooting at least one enterprise BMS/BAS platform.
• Experience administering or supporting an enterprise VMS and camera infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting across applications, servers, networks, integrations, and storage.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls, and common infrastructure dependencies.
• Niagara/N4, WebCTRL, Metasys, or comparable BMS/BAS certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot all BMS/BAS platforms across locations.
• Provide first‑line and advanced support for incidents, alarms, and configuration issues.
• Manage environmental monitoring, schedules, trends, and site configurations.
• Troubleshoot servers, networks, certificates, and authentication for BMS and related systems.
• Maintain inventories, licensing, and technical documentation.
• Administer and troubleshoot enterprise VMS and camera infrastructure across sites.
• Coordinate with Security, Facilities, and Network teams on issues.
• Own incidents from triage to resolution with proper runbooks and notes.
