Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of banking experience.
• Background in Middle Market, ABL, Investment Banking, Restructuring, Consulting, or Private Credit.
• Proven success in originating and structuring complex credit transactions.
• Strong Michigan networks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source, structure, and close credit-based financings across Michigan.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of Michigan-based middle market and large-cap companies.
• Build and expand sponsor relationships in the region.
• Analyze and qualify new deal opportunities and assess credit fit.
• Prepare and present screening materials, credit analyses, and term sheet recommendations to senior leadership.
• Deliver, pitch, and negotiate term sheets; lead negotiations of commercial and legal terms.
• Manage due diligence workstreams across underwriting, legal, and syndication functions.
• Maintain market intelligence on sponsor activity, M&A trends, and competitive dynamics.
