Job summary

SOPHiA GENETICS is seeking a Senior Manager or Associate Director for BioPharma Business Development to drive new customer acquisition and strategic account development across biopharma partners in the US West Coast and Central States.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to build pipeline momentum, convert opportunities into signed projects, and expand SOPHiA GENETICS' presence with NGS-based genomic assays and CDx solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of biopharma business development or sales experience
• Direct experience selling into pharma or biopharma organizations
• Strong knowledge of precision medicine, genomics, or translational research
• Proven ability to build pipeline and convert opportunities into proposals

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development across biopharma accounts in the US and Europe
• Build and progress opportunities with pharmaceutical partners through proposals and negotiations
• Lead discussions on precision medicine offerings, including companion diagnostics and CDx projects
• Maintain a healthy Salesforce pipeline from interest to deal close
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer solutions
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
