Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to perform advanced maintenance, installation, testing, calibration and repair on biomedical and clinical data/network systems. You will ensure regulatory compliance and provide training on equipment and safety.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or relevant experience with strong PM and troubleshooting skills, plus ability to visit multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field required or 2 years of progressive related experience.
• Experience repairing and preventive maintenance on biomedical equipment.
• Ability to perform component-level repairs and work with diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and safety checks on biomedical and related equipment.
• Repairs, installs, tests, calibrates, and troubleshoots biomedical devices.
• Maintains supporting technical literature and regulatory compliance.
• Delivers in-service training on biomedical equipment and safety.
• Works collaboratively in a team and adapts to changing priorities.
