Illumina is seeking a Sr. Manager, Bioinformatics to lead and grow a team of bioinformatics scientists in support of Clinical Genomics product development and lifecycle management.

You will oversee development, validation, and deployment of analytical methods and workflows, collaborating with R&D, Software, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to deliver innovative genomic solutions and customer value.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of related experience, with 3–6 years of management experience.
• PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, CS, Statistics, Genomics, or related field, with 8+ years preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership managing bioinformatics teams and cross‑functional programs.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of bioinformatics scientists with a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Oversee bioinformatics activities supporting Clinical Genomics product development and lifecycle management.
• Oversee development, validation, and deployment of analytical methods and workflows for software and assays.

• Partner with customers and external collaborators to support adoption and gather feedback.
