Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced BIM/VDC Coordinator to support large-scale commercial, industrial, and data center projects in Houston. You will coordinate across MEP, structural, architectural disciplines, manage federated models, perform clash detection, and drive issue resolution with design teams and field personnel.

Responsibilities include leading coordination meetings, ensuring model accuracy and delivering BIM-enabled project outcomes, with strong proficiency in Revit,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of BIM/VDC experience on large-scale projects (commercial/industrial/data center).
• Strong hands-on experience coordinating federated models across multiple disciplines.
• Experience with 4D modeling and construction sequencing is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM/VDC efforts across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Maintain and manage federated BIM models throughout design and construction phases.
• Perform clash detection and drive issue resolution among project stakeholders.
• Conduct constructability reviews to identify and mitigate project risks before installation.
• Support BIM implementation from design through project turnover.
• Facilitate coordination meetings with design teams, contractors, consultants, and field personnel.
• Ensure model accuracy, quality standards, and project deliverables are maintained.
• Collaborate with project teams to improve construction sequencing, efficiency, and field coordination.
• Support digital project delivery initiatives and BIM best practices.
