Job summary

Gensler in Houston is seeking a skilled BIM/VDC Coordinator to lead BIM workflows and model coordination across projects. You will implement BIM processes, manage federated models, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment with project standards.

The role emphasizes proficiency in BIM 360, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam, with a focus on maintaining model integrity and delivering coordinated outputs for clash detection and project review.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a BIM/VDC coordination role within the construction industry.
• Experience producing and implementing BIM Execution Plans and clash detection.
• Ability to manage BIM models across disciplines and deliver federated project models.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage BIM processes and workflows using BIM 360 and CAD tools.
• Review and contribute to BIM Execution Plans and project BIM Protocols.
• Develop and maintain BIM models in Revit; ensure accuracy and standards.
• Coordinate BIM delivery at project level; produce drawings and outputs.
• Set up and maintain Navisworks models; perform clash detection and reports.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors and subs for coordination.
• Provide regular BIM reports to the design team at milestones.
• Manage project documentation within BIM 360 and associated platforms.
• Stay current with BIM/VDC technologies to improve efficiency.
