Job summary

Strategic Mission Critical in Atlanta is seeking a Senior VDC Associate to support the delivery of complex mission critical projects across the United States. You will remain hands‑on in Revit while partnering with project teams, contractors, and clients to produce high-quality, constructible models and shop drawings that support successful field execution.

This role requires 5+ years of VDC/BIM experience, advanced Revit skills, and strong communication to lead multi-disciplinary coordination

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional VDC/BIM experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience modeling electrical systems in VDC.
• Experience producing construction models and shop drawings for contractor workflows.
• Experience using Navisworks for clash detection and model coordination.
• Experience leading coordination meetings and driving multi-disciplinary project execution.
• Ability to translate engineering drawings into constructible models.

Responsibilities

• Produce and oversee detailed electrical Revit models and shop drawings for mission critical projects.
• Lead project coordination efforts, including clash detection and constructability reviews using Navisworks.
• Translate engineering design intent into coordinated, field-ready models for fabrication and installation.
• Lead coordination meetings with internal teams, contractors, architects, and design partners.
• Mentor and support junior VDC team members on modeling standards and project execution.
• Coordinate RFIs, model revisions, and project deliverables while ensuring quality and schedule commitments.
• Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to resolve complex coordination challenges throughout construction.
