Job summary

Mi‑Tech seeks an accomplished BIM Coordinator to lead BIM/VDC on large, complex construction projects, starting with a major data centre initiative. You will act as technical lead and project coordinator, overseeing models, coordination, and external partnerships to ensure constructability and execution alignment.

You will build Mi‑Tech’s long-term BIM capabilities, develop standards, mentor team members, and help transition BIM work to fully in‑house execution, while traveling to project sites

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of BIM/VDC experience.
• Strong proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Inventor.
• Experience working with contractors on construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering/Technology (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as internal BIM lead/project manager for major projects, including a data centre initiative.
• Lead and coordinate multi-discipline BIM models, including clash detection and resolution.
• Manage internal BIM staff and external subconsultants (20–30 technicians).
• Establish and improve BIM standards, templates, workflows, and best practices.
• Set up project models, coordinates, BEPs, worksets, and deliverables.
• Perform model QA/QC and support milestone deliverables.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings with project managers, engineers, and field teams.
• Translate models for stakeholders and manage model exchanges with consultants/partners.
• Support construction teams with model-based coordination and as-built documentation.
• Provide ongoing BIM guidance and develop internal BIM capabilities.
