Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Design Technology Administrator III, BIM to oversee and advance design technology tools, BIM workflows, and standards for mechanical and electrical projects. This remote role collaborates with engineers, drafters, and project teams to ensure data-driven delivery and high-quality models.

You will develop and implement MEP Revit standards, library content, automation tools, mentor staff, and coordinate with BIM Managers to meet BEP requirements and project milestones, while

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of five to seven (5-7) years’ relevant industry-related experience
• In-depth knowledge of civil engineering software applications, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley Microstation, Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, and other industry-specific tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively and communicate with employees of all levels both in person and electronically.
• Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of MEP-specific Revit standards, content libraries, and automation tools that improve design quality and production efficiency.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering leadership to identify opportunities for workflow automation and data-driven project delivery.
• Mentor engineers and designers on advanced BIM modeling techniques and best practices.
• Serve as a discipline BIM leader for mechanical and electrical projects, promoting BIM standards and workflows.
• Review BIM models for BEP adherence and quality requirements.
• Develop and continuously improve BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
