Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Design Technology Administrator III (BIM) to support and lead design technology tools remotely in the United States. The role focuses on administering AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Bentely MicroStation, BIM360, and Navisworks while driving BIM standards and automation across MEP and other disciplines.

The position requires 5–7 years’ experience with civil engineering software, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to mentor engineers.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience in related field required.
• Minimum of five to seven (5-7) years’ relevant industry-related experience.
• In-depth knowledge of civil engineering software applications, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley Microstation, Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, and other industry-specific tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration, maintenance, training, and support for design technology tools.
• Lead development and implementation of BIM standards, content libraries, and automation tools.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to improve workflow automation and model intelligence.
• Mentor engineers and designers on BIM processes and best practices.
• Review BIM models for BEP compliance and quality requirements.
• Develop and improve BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
