Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Design Technology Administrator III, BIM to support design technology tools and BIM workflows. This role focuses on administering, configuring, and maintaining engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and BIM360 across Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.

The position emphasizes mentoring engineers and coordinating with IT and project teams to ensure optimal BIM delivery, standards compliance, and workflow automation in a remote-capable environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five to seven (5-7) years’ relevant industry-related experience
• In-depth knowledge of civil engineering software applications such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley Microstation, Revit, BIM360, Navisworks, and other industry-specific tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical resource for Mechanical and Electrical BIM workflows, standards, and digital delivery initiatives.
• Lead development and implementation of MEP-specific Revit standards, content libraries, and automation tools that improve design quality, coordination, and production efficiency.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering leadership to identify opportunities for workflow automation, model intelligence, and data-driven project delivery.
• Mentor engineers and designers on advanced MEP modeling techniques, BIM best practices, and custom tool utilization.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers and designers in BIM processes, model development, and coordination procedures.
