Job summary

Day & Zimmermann is seeking a Sr. BIM Coordinator to lead advanced BIM coordination across complex projects. You will direct model setup, manage collaboration workflows, and ensure adherence to BIM standards. The role includes resolving model issues and mentoring project teams on best practices.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in BIM/VDC with strong Revit and Navisworks skills, capable of guiding multidisciplinary teams and communicating risks to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in design technology, architecture, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years BIM, VDC, design technology or engineering design experience including advanced Revit use.
• Experience with model coordination, clash detection, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM coordination for complex projects and ensure compliance with BIM requirements.
• Create clash-detection reports and lead model-coordination meetings to resolve issues.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and related tools.
• Train BIM users and promote adherence to BIM standards and workflows.
• Represent BIM coordination in project strategy and client meetings, highlighting risks and actions.
