Job summary

Delivered Talent Group in California is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to manage model coordination across architectural, structural, and MEP trades from design through construction.

You will lead BIM/VDC coordination meetings, review drawings for clashes, and develop BIM Execution Plans while ensuring alignment with project schedules. The role requires proficiency with Navisworks, Revit, and AutoCAD, plus strong communication to coordinate multiple teams on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in engineering, drafting, construction tech, or related field, or equivalent.
• At least three years of BIM coordination experience.
• Experience coordinating models across multiple trades.
• Working knowledge of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
• Understanding of construction sequencing and constructability.
• Proficiency with Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, and related BIM tools.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to lead coordination discussions and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM models across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and other project trades.
• Review design drawings and models early to identify conflicts and constructability concerns.
• Work with designers, contractors, and trade partners to resolve coordination issues.
• Create, review, and maintain BIM Execution Plans.
• Lead BIM/VDC coordination meetings and track progress against project requirements and schedules.
• Perform and manage clash detection using Navisworks, document issues, and follow through to resolution.
• Maintain coordination issue and constraint logs.
• Assist with RFIs and evaluate their impact on model coordination.
• Set up, review, and update 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM software.
• Manage project models, drawings, and files across shared platforms.
• Process and maintain background drawings and models received from project partners.
• Use Bluebeam or similar markup tools to communicate proposed changes.
• Review deliverables for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with BIM standards.
• Prepare coordinated model and drawing packages for submission.
• Communicate design and constructability challenges clearly with the project team.
• Manage priorities and deadlines to support project schedules.
• Maintain effective working relationships across disciplines and continue developing technical skills.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems is valuable; specialized MEP design expertise is not required
