• Minimum 5 years of legal billing experience within a law firm environment.
• Advanced proficiency with 3E and e-billing platforms.
• Proven experience managing complex client billing arrangements and high-volume billing portfolios.
• Strong understanding of outside counsel guidelines, client fee arrangements, and electronic billing requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-service mindset.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full billing cycle for assigned attorneys and clients, including proforma generation, invoice review, edits, and final billing.
• Prepare and distribute billing proformas, invoices, timecard summaries, and billing-related reports.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and accepted client invoicing while proactively following up on billing approvals and outstanding issues.
• Maintain client accounts in accordance with billing agreements, outside counsel guidelines, and alternative fee arrangements.
• Process electronic invoices (EDI/e-billing) accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor and follow up on past-due accounts, researching and resolving billing-related issues.
