The successful candidate will mentor the billing staff, coordinate with other revenue cycle teams, and ensure timely, accurate invoices while managing deadlines in a demanding legal environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or business, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 7 years of operational and supervisory experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior management and cross-department collaboration.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with eBilling Hub and electronic billing vendor sites; Elite 3E preferred.

Responsabilités

• Understand clients, billing arrangements, OCGs, and e-billing to anticipate risks.
• Monitor metrics to identify delays in invoice processing.
• Direct billing staff to meet deadlines and service expectations.
• Escalate issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Advise on balances, bill packets, and ensure accuracy.
• Oversee workload and resource allocation across the billing team.
• Ensure accurate preparation of client invoices.
• Provide mentoring and conduct annual performance reviews.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle teams to minimize delays.
• Identify ways to improve billing accuracy and implement best practices.
• Monitor adherence to accounting policies.
