Job summary

Mathematica, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst to design and deliver scalable BI solutions using Power BI and Tableau, with data engineering and cloud experience.

This remote-eligible role partners with the Data Solutions team to translate complex business needs into production-ready analytics, leading data modeling and ETL/ELT pipelines while mentoring teammates and collaborating with clients.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in production BI, analytics, or data engineering.
• Hands-on Power BI and/or Tableau with strong SQL skills.
• Experience designing data models and data marts for analytics.
• ETL/ELT development across multiple data sources in cloud.
• AWS data solutions and cloud architecture understanding.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI and analytics solutions using Power BI and Tableau.
• Create dimensional models, star/snowflake schemas, and semantic models.
• Build production data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes across data sources.
• Optimize BI performance and resolve bottlenecks in pipelines and dashboards.
• Apply DevOps practices, including version control, testing, CI/CD, and release management.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and review development standards.
