Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a Data Analyst for a remote, nationwide position. You will turn business questions into clear analytics, build and maintain Power BI dashboards, and support decision-making across the organization.

The role requires strong Power BI and SQL skills, 5+ years of data analytics experience, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders while ensuring data quality and governance. This is a fully remote, US-wide opportunity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, reporting, data modeling, or a related field.
• Experience building and supporting reporting or analytics solutions that integrate data from multiple sources.
• Strong hands-on Power BI experience, including data models, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard optimization.
• Strong SQL skills, including writing queries, joins, summaries, and data validation.
• Understanding of data governance, quality issues, and practical solutions.
• Ability to translate undefined business questions into actionable analytics.
• Clear communication to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and raise risks when needed.

Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs and document key details.
• Design, build, test, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, data models, measures, and visualizations.
• Turn business questions into practical analytics solutions to support decision-making.
• Query, validate, and interpret data from multiple sources using SQL and data models.
• Maintain and improve dashboards, datasets, and analytics assets.
• Troubleshoot report, refresh, data quality, and system issues with technical teams.
• Support data organization, storage, and access practices for reliable reporting.
• Collaborate with business, analytics, and technology teams to review processes and identify improvements.
• Create and maintain documentation for reports, data sources, and business rules.
• Participate in feedback sessions and project discussions to refine analytics products.
