Job summary

Mathematica, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst (Remote Eligible) to design and deliver scalable BI solutions using Power BI and Tableau, and to lead data engineering efforts across pipelines and data marts.

The role requires hands-on expertise, strong SQL, AWS data solutions, and the ability to mentor teams while collaborating with clients and cross-functional partners to translate complex business needs into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience building production BI and analytics solutions.
• Advanced SQL and relational database skills with complex queries and optimization.
• Experience designing dimensional models, data marts, and semantic models for BI.
• Hands-on ETL/ELT development across multiple data sources.
• Experience with AWS data solutions and cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise BI solutions using Power BI and Tableau.
• Build data models and data marts, including dimensional models and semantic models.
• Create and maintain production data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Optimize end-to-end BI performance and resolve bottlenecks.
• Lead technical design discussions and mentor developers.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to translate requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure reliability.
