Navitus Health Solutions in Helena, MT is seeking a Senior Developer, Business Intelligence to design data models, dashboards, and reporting applications that drive informed decisions for managers and state stakeholders.

In this expert role you will lead analytics initiatives, ensure data integrity, mentor teammates, and adapt quickly to a fast-growing environment while collaborating across departments and with external partners. This role supports remote work and cross-state projects.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business, computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics or equivalent
• Five years of analytics or data BI experience; or three years with master's degree
• Experience with BI tools Tableau, Qlikview/QlikSense, SAS, Power BI or similar; SQL, Python or R preferred
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees

Responsibilities

• Create data applications and models for reporting using BI tools
• Identify inter-departmental dependencies and downstream impacts of changes within reporting
• Extract, Transform and Load data from various data sources
• Adapt quickly to changing reporting requirements and new BI tools in a rapidly evolving organization
• Take charge of ongoing data validation to ensure data integrity and reliability
• Identify and provide insights into streamlining analytics processes and research improvement opportunities
• Serve as analytics point of contact for state audits, legislative inquiries, and escalated analysis matters
• Lead and facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders or state stakeholders
• Serve as a mentor and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to teammates and business areas
• Other duties as assigned
