Job summary

Alameda Health System is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer III to translate business needs into technical specs and build scalable data solutions. You will design and deploy reporting tools, maintain analytic platforms, and create data objects to store and transform data.

The role requires BI experience in healthcare, robust SQL/ETL skills, and certifications like Epic Cogito/Clarity Caboodle. It is an internal, full-time position within Information Systems, with a competitive hourly pay

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in Information Systems/CS/DBMS or related field.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Information Management/Engineering/CS.
• Five years of BI/ETL experience in a healthcare setting.
• Epic Cogito/Clarity/Caboodle or related data model certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into technical specifications for BI solutions.
• Develop interactive reporting and data solutions using BI tools.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics for business insight.
• Maintain data environments and data sets for diverse data users.
• Support and extend data warehouse infrastructures with new sources (SSIS, SQL).
• Mentor BI Developer I/II staff and provide training.
