Job summary

Hornet Staffing, Inc., a GEE Group company, is seeking an experienced Senior BI Developer to advance our healthcare data analytics capabilities. You will design, develop, and optimize enterprise BI solutions and reporting platforms to drive data-driven decisions and operational efficiency.

The role requires 8+ years in BI/analytics, healthcare experience, and strong SQL/PL-SQL, ETL (SSIS/Talend), and Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years in BI, analytics, data warehousing or related.
• Healthcare industry experience required.
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL expertise.
• Strong ETL development experience with SSIS, Talend, or similar tools.
• Experience with Power BI, OBIEE, and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
• Strong understanding of OLTP/OLAP environments, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and multiple data sources.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within Agile and Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of BI solutions and enterprise reporting platforms.
• Develop scalable data models, reporting structures, and real-time dashboards to support organizational objectives.
• Create and optimize advanced SQL and PL/SQL queries for reporting and analytics.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with business and clinical stakeholders to translate analytical needs into technical solutions.
• Perform in-depth analysis of healthcare data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure data governance, quality, security, and compliance standards are maintained.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex BI and data-related issues.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.
• Stay current on emerging BI technologies, tools, and best practices.
