Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in the United States (Honolulu). You will design and deliver enterprise-scale BI, analytics, and data warehousing solutions enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

You will lead BI projects and collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, delivering reporting with Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos, while leveraging SQL, Oracle, and Snowflake. This role requires strong SDLC knowledge and leadership across teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive BI/Data Warehousing experience required (20+ years).
• Proven end-to-end BI solutions delivery from requirements to production support.
• Strong Power BI/Tableau/Cognos experience.
• Advanced SQL skills with Oracle & Snowflake databases.
• Ability to define KPIs and deliver self-service analytics.
• Experience designing enterprise data models and BI architecture.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
• Proven leadership bridging business and tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and optimization of BI and data warehousing solutions across domains.
• Partner with leaders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate needs into scalable analytics.
• Architect and deliver reporting and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos.
• Design data models and data integration processes leveraging SQL, Oracle, and Snowflake.
• Provide technical leadership and align BI strategy with governance and best practices.
