Job summary

Great American Insurance Group’s GARS Analytics Team seeks a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to lead SQL-based analytics in Snowflake and own core reporting domains. You’ll partner with stakeholders, scale analytics capabilities, and drive data-driven decisions in a fast-paced insurance environment.

On-site four days a week with one remote day, you’ll mentor analysts, design semantic models, and ensure data quality while applying modern BI tools like Tableau and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technology field.
• 7+ years of analytics, reporting, or BI experience.
• Insurance or financial services experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large data sets from diverse sources to drive strategic initiatives.
• Ensure data integrity through validation and quality checks.
• Partner with stakeholders to frame questions and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Present findings to management with clear recommendations.
• Design and maintain semantic models and reporting definitions.
