Great American Insurance Group is seeking an Analytics Manager for the GARS Analytics Team in Cincinnati. You will lead three analysts, own analytics delivery, and drive quality across reporting, dashboards, and BI solutions while guiding the team in a fast‑growing wholesale E&S portfolio.

The role requires 7+ years in analytics/BI, a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), and strong SQL/Snowflake/Tableau/Power BI skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; master’s degree or professional license a plus.
• Field of Study: business, finance, accounting, CS or related quantitative discipline preferred.
• 7+ years in analytics, reporting, or BI roles, with leadership experience.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or professional services is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience supervising analysts or coordinating day-to-day work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily data team operations for efficient workflow.
• Oversee analytics work across reporting initiatives and ensure data quality.
• Lead development and delivery of reports, dashboards, BI solutions.
• Coach and develop a team of three analysts for growth and quality.
• Collaborate with analytics peers, leadership, and IT to align priorities.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable work.
• Support platform modernization and data quality initiatives.
• Document analytics processes, standards, and definitions.
• Contribute hands-on analytics for high-impact deliverables.
