Job summary

Wiley is seeking a Senior BI Analyst to support strategic decision-making with timely data analysis and visualizations. You will own end-to-end ETL, build Power BI dashboards for leadership, and run complex SQL/BigQuery queries to uncover trends and opportunities.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, translate data into business insights, and mentor peers to elevate the analytics capability across the organization. This role emphasizes clear communication and data-driven storytelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Four or more years of relevant experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role.
• Working proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn data into a business story.

Responsibilities

• Lead end to end ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading, to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data used for analysis.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards in Microsoft Power BI that give the leadership team clear, data driven visualizations to support decision-making.
• Use SQL and BigQuery to run complex data queries and analyses, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational and business improvements.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements, share insights, and support data driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Communicate technical concepts and analytical findings clearly, adjusting the message for different audiences, including executives and team members.
• Coach and mentor team members on best practices in data analysis, ETL processes, and dashboard development to build a strong, collaborative team.
