Job summary

Wiley is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our analytics team in the United States. You will lead end-to-end ETL, develop interactive Power BI dashboards, and translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

You will leverage SQL and BigQuery to run advanced queries, collaborate with stakeholders across the business, mentor analysts, and drive data-driven decision-making to support strategic growth and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Essential Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Four or more years of relevant experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role.
• Working proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn data into a business story.

Responsibilities

• Lead end to end ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading, to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data used for analysis.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards in Microsoft Power BI that give the leadership team clear, data driven visualizations to support decision-making.
• Use SQL and BigQuery to run complex data queries and analyses, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational and business improvements.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements, share insights, and support data driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Communicate technical concepts and analytical findings clearly, adjusting the message for different audiences, including executives and team members.
• Coach and mentor team members on best practices in data analysis, ETL processes, and dashboard development to build a strong, collaborative team.
