Job summary

TriNet Group is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, Database Engineer to build and optimize data infrastructure and reporting solutions across Finance, Operations, and other functions.

You will design Power BI dashboards, data models, and ETL processes, ensuring data quality and reliable analytics. This role partners with multiple teams to translate requirements into scalable data products and automated reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in BI, analytics, data engineering, or related field.
• Advanced experience with Power BI, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Strong SQL and data warehousing experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards, scorecards, paginated reports, and automated reporting solutions.
• Develop and optimize data models, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT processes to improve speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Support reporting across accounting, budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and operations.
• Develop and maintain scalable BI databases and reusable data products, including governed datasets and dashboards.
• Translate reporting requirements into effective technical solutions with stakeholders.
• Lead BI projects from requirements through implementation.
