Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic BESS Solar Project Manager to lead commercial energy storage projects from conception to completion in the Denver area. You will oversee schedules, budgets, and teams, coordinating with engineers, contractors, and clients to deliver high‑quality results.

You will manage complex, utility‑scale BESS projects, traveling to sites as required, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards while driving on‑time, on‑budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in solar project management on BESS DC to DC sites, ideally for community solar projects.
• Strong knowledge of solar technology, construction, and project management principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of BESS projects, including planning, design, construction, commissioning, and operation.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans and ensure that they are adhered to.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, vendors, and customers, to ensure that project requirements are met.
• Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Ensure that all project activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Monitor project progress and report on project status to senior management.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and technical specifications.
• Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project team members.
