Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Senior Project Engineering Manager to lead a multi-discipline team on BESS + Solar projects, driving engineering design, procurement, and construction support. You will manage budgets, schedules, client interfaces, and engineering deliverables across EPC projects, with emphasis on cost control, safety, and quality in a dynamic, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 8 years related work experience.
• P.E. license highly preferred.
• Experience leading multi-discipline teams on solar PV and/or BESS projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex engineering deliverables for multiple megaprojects.
• Conduct research to develop equipment and material recommendations.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines.
• Lead larger production teams, coordinate multiple discipline activities, and serve as the responsible charge for a project.
• Identify key client interests and drivers and develop solutions.
