Job summary

Fluence, a global leader in energy storage, seeks a Project Director to lead multiple Battery Energy Storage System projects across the Americas. You will guide Project Managers, manage EPC execution, and collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to meet objectives and contracts.

Expect strong customer engagement, risk management, and profitability focus. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 12+ years in project management with P&L, and 3+ years in EPC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years in project management with P&L responsibility.
• 3+ years managing complex EPC projects.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong planning, financial, and risk mitigation skills.
• Experience with global, matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, management, and execution of multiple complex BESS projects.
• Direct Project Managers, ensuring resources and accountability.
• Oversee EPC project execution and cross-functional collaboration.
• Monitor financial performance, risks, and profitability improvements.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure documentation, milestones, and deliverables are aligned.
