TWAICE Technologies GmbH is looking for a Senior BESS Engineer to support customers across the Americas with technical insights into battery performance. This role emphasizes a strong foundation in BESS systems and requires the ability to analyze complex data.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the BESS industry, proficiency in Python for technical tasks, and a comprehensive understanding of lithium-ion battery systems. The position supports remote work with flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience as a performance engineer, systems engineer, or O&M engineer in the BESS sector.
• Ability to process sensor data and validate signal quality using Python.
• Knowledge of degradation mechanisms and battery behavior.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical contact for customers across the Americas.
• Support pre-sales activities through technical discovery and assessments.
• Manage KPI rollout and diagnose sensor data quality issues.
• Run platform training for performance engineers and asset managers.

Skills

BESS industry experience

Comfortable with Python

Deep knowledge of lithium-ion batteries

Familiarity with BESS data flows
