Job summary

You will assist consultants, prepare open enrollment materials, and help with vendor implementations, claims, and billing issues. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2–3+ years in employee benefits, with strong MS Office and Excel skills, confidentiality, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or economics or equivalent work experience.
• 2-3+ years financial experience with employee benefits.
• Proficient with MS Office; Excel at a strong to expert level.

Responsibilities

• Fee/commission submission management and submission after signed agreement.
• Prepare documents for audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Assist consultants with client deliverables and meetings.
• Provide day-to-day client support including escalated claims and billing issues.
• Prepare materials for meetings and document key takeaways.
• Develop content for Open Enrollment meetings and client deliverables.
• Oversee vendor implementation processes and manage expectations.
• Address escalated claims and billing issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain BAM (Benefit Account Management) System accuracy.
• Conduct monthly/weekly client status calls and present action items.
• Perform essential duties within the broader scope of role responsibilities.
