Job summary

Brown & Brown, Inc in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Benefits Specialist to support client servicing for employee benefit programs. You will assist Senior Benefit Consultants in managing core account operations and delivering client deliverables with accuracy and timeliness.

You will prepare materials for open enrollment, support vendor implementations, resolve escalated claims and billing issues, and maintain the BAM system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2-3+ years financial experience with employee benefits knowledge.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage and submit fees and commissions after signed agreement from the account lead.
• Prepare documents for IO audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Assist Consultants with client deliverables and meeting content.
• Provide day-to-day client support for escalated claims, billing issues, and vendor interactions.
• Prepare materials for meetings and document key takeaways on action logs.
• Develop content for Open Enrollment meetings and client deliverables; lead or support presentations.
• Oversee vendor implementation processes and participate in calls.
• Resolve escalated claims and billing issues to ensure client satisfaction.
