Qualifications

• 10+ years of U.S. employee benefits experience including plan design and 401(k) management.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. benefits regulations (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA) and IRS retirement plan rules.
• Experience improving benefits administration processes and HRIS integration.
• Willingness to learn Canadian and Irish benefits requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to present data-driven recommendations.
• Ability to work independently and build trusted cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, delivery, and performance of U.S. benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, EAP, and voluntary offerings.
• Lead annual renewal and open enrollment cycles with plan design, RFPs, pricing, and funding decisions.
• Review contracts, SPDs, and plan documents for accuracy and compliance; manage broker and vendor relationships.
• Manage the 401(k) plan fiduciary oversight, including benchmarking and annual audits.
• Ensure compliance with ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA and other state/federal requirements; oversee ACA reporting.
• Oversee benefits administration and Dayforce benefits module integration with HR/Payroll.
• Provide oversight for Canada and Ireland benefits programs and retirement plans.
