Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced U.S. Benefits & Retirement Administration Manager to lead the administration of health, welfare, 401(k), and retirement offerings. You will drive governance, analytics, and continuous improvement across U.S. benefits programs.

You will lead a team under People Operations, manage external vendors, and ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, IRS rules, and DOL requirements, delivering an excellent employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration, retirement administration, or total rewards operations.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience or leadership of complex programs.
• Experience managing external vendors and third‑party administrators.
• Advanced analytical and Excel skills.
• Proven project management and process improvement experience.
• Local to one of our US Hub locations and able to work 2 days in‑office per week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration of U.S. benefits programs (Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA, COBRA, 401(k)).
• Lead and support development of a team of contributors and subject matter experts.
• Serve as the relationship owner for the third‑party benefit administrator.
• Oversee statements of work, cost, contract negotiation, SLAs and performance metrics.
• Develop operational strategies to improve employee experience, efficiency, and compliance.
• Identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities through analytics and operational reviews.
• Partner with Total Rewards Centers of Excellence and HR leadership on new benefit programs and changes.
• Escalate complex issues; collaborate across HR pillars to resolve.
