Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP seeks an Associate Director of Benefits & Payroll to lead retirement, health and well-being programs and oversee multi-state payroll. Reporting to the Senior Director of HR Operations & Total Rewards, you will drive strategic program design, vendor partnerships and regulatory compliance to enhance the employee experience.

The role collaborates with Finance and People & Culture to continuously optimize Total Rewards and ensure governance across programs, while mentoring the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• CEBS, CPP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR or other relevant certification preferred.
• Eight to ten years of benefits, payroll or Total Rewards experience.
• Experience in a large law firm or professional services.
• Experience leading teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Knowledge of ERISA, IRS, DOL, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA and wage-hour rules.
• Experience with UKG Pro and HR technology platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and governance of health, welfare, and retirement programs.
• Oversee payroll function across multiple states with accurate processing.
• Collaborate with Finance, People & Culture and external vendors.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and internal controls.
