Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Five years of directly related experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of clinic operations and insurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff workflows across patient access, scheduling and verification.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to Benefits Coordinators.
• Facilitate communication between providers, staff, insurance plans and patients.
• Handle authorizations and referrals; support clerical duties in a patient care setting.
• Oversee complex authorization and referral processes.
• Monitor scheduling and patient access workflows for efficiency.
• Resolve escalated patient service or insurance issues.
• Maintain clinic records, reports, and documentation.
• Support leadership with operational coordination and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies, regulatory requirements, and payer guidelines.
