Job summary

Honor is seeking a detail-oriented People Operations Senior Specialist, Benefits to administer health and welfare, retirement, wellness, and leave programs. You will ensure they are competitive, compliant, and easy for employees to navigate, serving as a trusted resource for employees, leaders, brokers, and internal partners.

This role sits on the Compensation and Benefits team within People Operations. You will lead open enrollment, develop clear benefits communications, support new-hire

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of multi-state benefits experience including Health and Welfare and 401(k).
• 3+ years experience with leave administration and worker’s compensation administration.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and HRIS experience; Dayforce a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer health and welfare, retirement, wellness, and leave benefits with reliable day-to-day operations.
• Lead the annual open enrollment process with planning, vendor coordination, communications, and post-enrollment reconciliation.
• Develop clear, engaging benefits communications and educational resources for employees.
• Facilitate benefits orientation for new hires and support newly eligible employees and life events.
• Coordinate with Payroll, HRIS, Finance, and vendors to ensure accurate deductions and reconciliations.
• Conduct regular benefits audits and recommend process improvements.
