Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a highly accomplished Benefits Manager to design and operate company-wide programs that are meaningful, cost-effective, and impactful. The role requires analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative skills to serve a diverse employee base.

You will lead administration of medical, dental, vision, retirement, and voluntary benefits, partner with HR and finance, and mentor a growing team. On-site Hawthorne, CA relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of professional experience in employee benefits or HR.
• PHR certification or HR affiliations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration of company-wide benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, life, retirement).
• Identify improvements to deliver outstanding employee experience.
• Use data-driven analysis to evaluate program effectiveness.
• Develop cost-effective, scalable employee benefit programs from feasibility to ongoing operations.
• Build-out benefits strategy and processes to support a growing workforce.
• Assist, advise, and counsel employees on benefit questions via multiple channels.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Marketing, Legal to sustain best-in-class programs.
• Oversee relationships with external vendors and consultants; ensure performance.
• Coach and mentor direct reports and support career growth.
• Other duties including benefits and relocation administration, leaves, workers' comp, commuter programs, HRIS data.
