Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Benefits Manager to design, implement, and operate company-wide employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, and retirement plans. You will analyze data, drive improvements, and ensure a cost-efficient, employee-focused experience.

The role partners with HR, Payroll, Finance, Marketing, and Legal to deliver best-in-class programs, mentor staff, and manage vendors. 8+ years of HR/benefits experience required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in employee benefits and/or HR.
• PHR Certification preferred; MBA or Masters in HR preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to operate strategically and tactically.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Proficient with Excel and large data sets; experience with HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration for company-wide employee benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, life, etc.).
• Identify and implement improvements to deliver outstanding employee experience.
• Use data-driven approaches to evaluate and enhance program effectiveness.
• Develop cost-effective benefit programs and strategies for a growing workforce.
• Coach and mentor direct reports; oversee performance and career growth.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Marketing and Legal to sustain best-in-class programs.
• Oversee relationships with external vendors and consultants.
